Location: Zoom

In this brief virtual workshop, we’ll discuss relationships norms and the concept of amatonormativity–broadly defined as the set of cultural ideas that value romantic love more highly than other forms of relationship and presume that all people experience romantic love. We’ll create opportunities for participants to think critically about how relationship norms and inherited scripts shapes our relationships and how we might think beyond the bounds of amatonormativity as we think about love, connection, care, and community.
