Loaction: meet at Gallery 360, walk to the Crossing at 1pm
Join Gallery 360 and The LGBTQA Resource Center for a guided tour and lunchtime discussion of Fluid Matters, Grounded Bodies: Decolonizing Ecological Encounters currently on view in Gallery 360. The tour and discussion will focus on the works by queer artists in the exhibition, as well as themes of kinship, care, and reciprocity in forming decolonial futures.
Presented as part of 2024 Peace and Social Justice Week, this lunch and learn session also aims to explore how artists cultivate care and engage in liberatory practices of resistance, rest, and joy.
At 1pm after the gallery tour, we’ll walk to lunch, from Curry Student Center to our cross-campus exhibition partners at Northeastern Crossing.
Lunch will be provided! Registration is required. Click here to register.
Accessibility note: There will be stairs at several points along the way, but upon request there will be staff available to walk with attendees to the elevator via the bridge near ISEC. There are seats at Gallery360 as well as at Northeastern Crossing.
