Mission and History

Our Mission

The LGBTQA Resource Center aspires to create an organized and empowered LGBTQA community at Northeastern University.

We initiate and sustain programs and services that enrich the holistic development of our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual students and their allies. Recognizing the multiple identities that LGBTQA individuals hold, we work actively to build a socially conscious community that welcomes difference, conflict, and intercultural engagement.

Our History

The LGBTQA Resource Center was established in 2011 through the Office of Student Affairs as a part of Campus Activities.

In 2013, the Center was transitioned to be a part of Residential, Cultural and Spiritual Life.
